ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SMALL AND SECRET HOTELS?

I didn’t even have to think about this answer. Without a doubt, no umm-ing and ahhh-ing, one of my favourites is Brown's Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel. It's hard to think of a more storied hotel. It’s where Alexander Graham Bell made London’s first ever phone call, where President Roosevelt honeymooned, and it’s where Rudyard Kipling wrote parts of the Jungle Book.

Amongst the stunning blossom and bird covered wallpaper which is fabulously fresh and modern, Brown’s London is simply a great place to stay. Look, I love to travel. But I also love my dogs and staying at Brown’s means they can come too! Their Best Furry Friends package is divine with freshly made dog biscuits and William Morris beds and leads. Book a table at Charlie’s for lunch with your girlfriends (of course dogs are welcomed there too). Eat olives the size of lightbulbs wrapped in cucumber and dill and possibly their signature Caesar salad? Margaritas … yes please, and possibly their triple cooked chips on the side.

What about your pooch? There’s a special “A La Bark” menu with options like raw chopped beef sirloin. And you’ll receive a “Doggy Guide to Mayfair” so you can explore!

PS. Do contact me to book your stay and do send me photos of your dogs.
