WILD COMPASS-SHIFTING ADVENTURES OR QUICK-FIX TINY TRIP AGENDAS?
As the long, languid days of summer draw to a close, I’ve drawn up 7 top reasons as to why people come to me for help with their travel plans.
I have so many really useful tips I would love to share which can save time and money and help you make great choices.
Whether you’re an accustomed globetrotter wanting to pick my brains about surfacing trends and new openings, or are looking or in need of some tips on where to go for a micro-last-minute dash for winter sun I invite you to read on to find out about how I work.
expertise - my blend of global and insider knowledge means you can enjoy unique flawlessly curated travel experiences. I bring over 20 years’ experience and a wealth of knowledge gained from a lifetime of trotting the globe. My father’s work took our family to live in wonderfully diverse far-reaching places including Dubai, Ethiopia, Houston, Malawi New York and Singapore. I have an extensive background advising and organising luxury travel and high profile events for a leading investment bank as well as ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
inside track - many of my holiday destinations are not featured or advertised, making my little black book of knowledge truly invaluable, which creates absolutely unique travel experiences. These may include wild adventures, as well as compass-shifting places to stay and off-grid restaurants. I recently secured highly sought after tickets to the Vermeer Exhibition as part of an 11 day European tour, organised a private jet last minute to attend the Monaco Grand Prix, added a trip to Mozambique following an Okavango Safari and planned a two-part honeymoon - firstly an escape to a private Maldivian Island and secondly an expedition to Alaska to see the whales.
hyper-curated - my approach is down to my attention-to-detail, ever-evolving knowledge of interesting (and often unknown) destinations round the world and gaining a deep understanding of your and your family's unique needs and wishes through one-to-one consultations. It’s about giving you the time to reflect on how you live and would like to travel.
I specialise in working with a myriad of clients who have differing experiences and aspirations. Some always love the classics, others prefer the off-beat and there are those who look to me to spotlight the most-talked about destinations and trend-setting hotspots.
From accustomed globetrotters, corporates, digital nomads and “mooners” to solo travellers; whatever it is, however big or small – a city break, a macro epic adventure, a quick-fix tiny trip agenda, a remote spot, a dreamy beach, a wellness retreat – I will work closely with you to help you achieve your goals whilst avoiding pitfalls, with relative ease and calm and land you in the place you most want to be. To know the rules and for it to be made easy, super organised and fun!
pin-sharp pricing - by working with me I can help you avoid booking the wrong thing for you or unnecessarily paying more. I don’t charge consulting fees and with my exclusive, trusted network I can snap up hot-off-the-press seats, guarantee next level service and am privy to early-bird deals, bonus nights and perks. I will customise every trip - based on your individual need, preference and budget - simply tell me what it is and I will ensure I work within your parameters.
you save time – yes it’s fun to research, especially at the beginning of a process. But sometimes it can feel overwhelming. We are inundated with acres and acres of inspiration … feeds, reels, TikToks. And what about all that admin? The geek in me loves to forage, be creative, share my learnings and challenge your perspectives so why not let me do the hard work? I use my time to take the sting out of the research on where to go and stay, to avoid you burrowing down that never-ending internet rabbit hole, wasting precious hours of yours.
Upcoming trips I’ve planned initially started with questions like where and how can I track endangered mountain gorillas? Cabins and canvas hideouts – what would you recommend? What are the “big three” in Sri Lanka? Where can we go as a family in the Maldives that is not top-drawer pricey and has padel-tennis courts and how can we eat our way around Peru?
If you prefer to do the fun, top-level searching we can share ideas and I will give you the inside information and drill down on the detail and ensure you get the best value for money. Or if you are completely green and don’t know where to start we will cover all bases - talk about the destination (s), I will send you inspiration and we can go from there.
spotlight secret finds - with long-established high profile partnerships in the world of luxury travel, I can give you access to their one-off hyper curated guides and tell you all about surfacing trends and new openings.
protection - just to remind you I offer fully health and safety approved accommodation, bespoke documentation, complimentary access to our concierge service , 24/7 emergency contact in the UK and your booking will be ABTA and ATOL protected.
I would love to help so do get in touch to discuss your next getaway.
